Please read our terms and conditions before ordering.
PRICES
For
all UK residents (excluding Highlands & Islands of Scotland) prices
shown are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax), charged at the current
rate of 17.5% and are quoted in pounds sterling (£). Prices are also
inclusive of delivery, with the exception of some E C Emmerich (ECE)
products, which are despatched directly from Germany.
Customers from the Highlands & Islands of Scotland should contact us
directly to discuss delivery charges.
From
time to time, due to manufacturers’ price increases, our product
prices may have to increase too. If this does happen, the Wood-Shop
will always notify you of the amended price prior to purchase,
giving you the option to purchase or cancel your order.
All
errors and omissions excepted (?).
DELIVERY
At
present, delivery is only available to mainland UK. Delivery charges
are included in the prices quoted, with the exception of some E C
Emmerich (ECE) products.
We
aim to deliver your goods within four to seven working days. If
there is likely to be a delay, or an item is out of stock, we will
notify you by telephone or email.
Some
items such as the ECE workbenches, tool sets and cabinets may take
slightly longer as they are sent directly from Germany. We will
always inform you of the expected delivery date.
RETURN
OF GOODS
All orders are carefully
checked, prior to despatch.
Unfortunately, items can sometimes get lost or damaged in transit
due to factors beyond our control. If an item arrives damaged
in any way, please contact the Wood-Shop within seven days of
receipt for either a full refund or to request a replacement item.
Depending on your preference, we will arrange for the damaged goods
to be picked up and returned to us or you may arrange the return of
goods to us. For all damaged/faulty goods, postage costs will
be paid by the Wood-Shop.
On
receipt of your order, we would strongly advise you to check that
items are undamaged before signing for them. If they are damaged,
mark this on the delivery note. If you are unable to inspect the
goods on delivery, please ensure you sign as follows: ‘Goods not yet
inspected’.
CANCELLING
You
are entitled to a cooling off period of seven working days,
commencing on the day after you received your goods. If you wish to
cancel your order for any reason, please contact us (telephone 01467

info@wood-shop.co.uk) within the seven working day period.
You will be responsible for returning the items (including the cost
of postage).
A refund will be
made within 30 days from the return of the goods in perfect working
condition. This does not affect your statutory rights.

charged at standard rate).

PRIVACY
Our
customer information is not passed on to other companies or
organisations. When you place an order, send us an email, or
complete one of our online forms, we collect information that has
been submitted by you (name, address, email address and telephone
number, etc). This information is used only for processing orders
and enquiries and for our own customer service purposes (to inform
you of service improvements, special offers, etc). At no time will
your details be passed on to any third parties. If you would like
us to remove your details from our system, please send a blank email
with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject header to info@wood-shop.co.uk.
Any
queries regarding our privacy policy should be directed to the email
address above.
