Set of Side Beads - all boxed
This set of side beads, all boxed (inset with box wood to counteract wear) have been restored at Lethenty Mill Furniture.
They are from the set of tools owned by F. Glenister (others of which are listed here). He carefully removed all maker's names leaving room for his moniker. He apparently worked on the fitting out of the Titanic so that helps to date the tools.
These are nice planes and are all in good useable condition.
The smallest one is named Moon, which dates it to pre-1851.
